The agreement calls for Brown-Forman (NYSE: BFB) to pay 46. 8 million Euro or about $61 million for the interest in Finlandia the company that owns the marketing and sales rights for Finlandia-brand vodkas. Finland vodka is sold in more than 100 countries around the world. Brown-Forman has marketed and sold Finlandia in the United States since 1996. Brown-Forman acquired its original stake in Finlandia in August 2000 buying a 45-percent share of the company for $83 million.
