The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced that Finlandia University in Hancock Mich. will join the league for men’s soccer. The addition of Finlandia allows the WIAC to sponsor a championship in men’s soccer for the first time. The Lions will compete with current WIAC members UW-shkosh UW-Platteville UW-Superior and UW-Whitewater for team and individual awards. Finlandia has an all-time record of 2-71 since beginning its men’s soccer program in 2003.
